Denver to Overland Park

Yesterday, Ari met Junebug and the even kissed.


We took I70 East from Denver to Kansas

Driving at altitude 5200 for hours. It’s not until the  Kansas border that you start the decent.


Drove through Burlington CO (4100 ft) the boyhood home of Astronaut Mike lounge


Entered Kansas at the town of Kanarado

We went through the state capital of Topeka. Also the boyhood home of Senator Bob Dole.


The time zone changed Colby KS the Oasis of the Plains.

Kansas is flat as far as the eye can see.

There are a lot of windmills in Kansas. It’s so flat nd windy.


We are now in Overland Park visiting with Mark's family and having dinner.

Tomorrow is the Graduation.
