Part of the reason Democrats lost the election is that many Americans perceive the party as dominated by left-wing ideals and coastal elites. This perception alienated key demographics, including union voters who traditionally support Democratic candidates. Instead of understanding the concerns of those who voted for Trump, I see comments on social media dismissing them as "stupid" or "racist." This attitude only deepens the divide and reinforces negative stereotypes. If we want to win back the support of working-class Americans, we need to engage in meaningful dialogue, listen to their concerns, and stop belittling their choices. This dismissive rhetoric is exactly why we lost the election—let's work to bridge the gaps instead.
